Works as described. I had an old laptop with a missing hard drive, and this laptop only takes SATA 2.5 drives. Installing the M.2 SSD into the enclosure was super easy. And the laptop was able to see the new drive without issues.

Works great with no issues. If you know how to install and format a drive, this will work great.

it is good for reading sata ssd's, but it lacks a standoff to hold the ssd as happens within computers. As it is, the ssd card ends up touching the underlying pcb and perhaps overstressing the socket a little bit. for this, i wouldn't let it as a permanent adapter

There’s nothing to keep the M.2 parallel to the board. Had to improvise.

Very well made. Casing fits together perfectly. Keeps the drive cool.Keep in mind - it does not come with drive spacer. Also, I used an M2 heatsink pad, to fill the gap, between the drive and the case.

Although the larger Drive self aligns, the SSD's need an eyeball sometimes to properly seat and connect. It works as designed, working drives in either size. Note: it will only accommodate one drive at a time. The only drawback is one I have with most desktop electronics: Could they either add some ballast weight or an anti skip pad to the bottom. I'm sick and tired of these things scooting around as I'm trying to use them :-p

Hard to install the NVME

Great device.

This worked perfectly and was just what I needed to keep from disposing of two old, high capacity drives.

It works great using an old SATA drive as an external drive. I have yet to try using it to copy drives since I don't have an extra one to copy to.

Great Adapter to have an m.2 sata ssd fit into a older laptop and Desktop without m.2 sata support. Would buy again.

I have a lot of old HDD that I wanted to restore files from and this worked with pretty ancient sata drives.

Computer died and had 4 hard drives in it. Used this to get files of hard drive. No problem. No install. Fast. Did what it was suppose to put of the box.

This Optiplex replaces a previous version in a small form. The performance is as though it was brand new. The only issue I had was getting software updates from Microsoft. You need a specific KB file to bring it far enough up to date to install proper usb drivers and for Microsoft update to operate. After I figured that out and got it completed it now is exactly as it should with ample memory and HD space to do everything I need. Shipping was faster than I expected too!

It works for Mac Monterey. All I need to know.

I have a single Sabrent drive that read/writes my 1TB and 4TB drive. This double drive doesn't recognize my 1TB drive. It also seems to have a difficult time addressing 2 drives at the same time. I didn't have any luck with this item and I did mess around with it for quite some time, even downloading some new drivers, etc... Unfortunately, I had to return this item.

seems to be working. initially had a problem with power but all is well now.

Easy to use and works perfect!

Unlike what the instructions say, the drives can spin down automatically if not used for a while. When that happens, they may all spin back up at random times, bringing up their folder. Otherwise it's jbod all the way.

What else is there to say? Convenient switch in the back; fits two drives. Nice solid feel with rubber feet to prevent sliding.

Originally, I had ordered this, because the one that I already have, was not detecting any drives that were plugged into it. Little did I know that these attachments do not work with 3.5 mechanical drives. So ssds are going to be the only option for this. But, this one is going to be a lot more useful for future usage, since the cable this one came with is a lot longer than the one that I already have

Works great, solid build. If you need to clone or transfer a sata drive this is definitely a great choice.

Zero problems with mine. I just needed it to pull some old files off the hard drives that I've managed to accumulate over the years.

Quality of material is good and functions as deaigned. If you need a usb to external SSD functions this is the one to get.
