Bought this device as I have had other Sabrent devices in the past that were good quality. This hub, though it worked as expected only lasted 1 1/2 years sitting on my desk. At this time, ports are starting to glitch (drop/reset/flaky) intermittently and my webcam glitches which makes web presentations less than professional.
This hub works just fine. I like the lights telling me what ports are on and off. This allows me to leave things plugged in all the time but turned off. Cord length is too long for my purpose, but I keep the cord wrapped out so it's out of the way for the most part. I'd be happier if it was 15 inches long.
I couldn't have more than 2 iPads connected without getting the USB Accessories Disabled message on my M1 MacBook Air regardless of where I would plug this device into. I used a powered dock (OWCTB4DOCK), a USB Type-C to USB 3.1 Gen1 Female Adapter made by Amazon Basics, and an Anker USB-C to USB 3.1 adapter but still got the same results. I tried plugging it in directly into my 2017 MacBook Air's USB port and got the same message. I didn't try using the hub with anything else and the buttons felt like a mushy membrane keyboard.

I wanted something I could use to plug in several things instead of having to plug and unplug. I have my watch,ear buds & phone all plugged in. I love that it lights up to show the item is charging. I almost purchased one that didn't light up but I'm glad I didn't. Just the small things make life simpler. Highly recommend this item.
The cord is a bit long but overall good value for the money.
I bought this USB port to use as a hub for test equipment on my repair bench. I like that each port can be disabled although I haven't had a situation where I need to do that yet. Overall it works as needed.
I like this product because of its' price, customer provided next day delivery as promised and the fact that it is working on my Surface Pro 6.

Freeing up USB slots for other appliances, boosting USB type 3.0, and the ability to switch off certain hardware without unplugging is very nice. I have two desktops which I switch to back from time to time, and having four devices go through the same channel is nice. No issues so far, happy with the product.
In my quest to expand my USB connections I bought this device. The lights and switches are pretty cool. You can turn off devices with a click. I did notice that high demand devices do not always work well. For example a mouse, keyboard, cell charger, light, and maybe a USB fan would be fine. But I started running into issues with a 4k webcam, hifi USB mic, a drawing tablet, and a hard drive. For some reason it causes huge issues that crashes the hub or plain ignores devices when plugged in. There's apparently a device bandwidth limitation which isn't mentioned in the specs. I'd buy another one but only for low demand devices.
