Bought this after doing some research on running a mini max with 2 screens, plugged it in and it worked instantly no setup required. Couldn’t be happier!
I am using this adapter to add two external monitors on my laptop (3 displays total) via a Thunderbolt 3 port (HP Spectre x360-13). Both external displays are rock solid at 3200 x 1800 @ 60 Hz resolution. The adapter can get very hot during operation but the aluminum case helps to dissipate the heat without any signal degradation (so far). There are cheaper dual HDMI adapters out there but many won't provide a 60 Hz refresh rate on both monitors - this one DOES! Recommended!
Works as promised, no complaints so far.
After trying several devices the Sabrant Thunderbolt 3 to dual DisplayPort adapter is finally the one to truly deliver native 4K 60 Hz resolution to two 4K monitors simultaneously without relying on DisplayLink or thrid-party drivers. Others typically provide only 4K 30 Hz resolution or don't support dual 4K 60 Hz monitors. We'll see how this stands the test of time but so far so good!
I have an older Vostro 7590 with a 9th gen Intel CPU. I was concerned that the Thunderbolt 3 port, which I believe is only HBR2, would not have enough bandwidth to drive two 4K displays at their full refresh rate. Despite my concerns this adapter worked prefectly - though I did have to manually set the refresh rate in the Windows' control panel to the full 60Hz. Well worth the money, and setup was fairly straight-forward.The connection was initially a little flakey, but thankfully Sabrent has thought of that! There is an included rubber piece which converts the USB-C connector to a screw-on style connector. With this piece installed I have had no issues w/ picture quality, refresh rate, display blackouts, etc.One thing to note is that the enclosure seems to be metal, and it does get quite hot during operation, especially when pushing it to the limits by driving multiple 4K displays. I would suggest using this in an application where you are able to ensure the adapter gets plenty of airflow.
Spend so much money and so many effort find a USB C to Duel display connector for my Macbook Pro 15inch and Lenovo X1. I tried Anker, or there more expensive brand, but they are not work for Mac, only this one works for Mac so far. Simple and solid, plugin and play. 5 start and want by again for my home other computer!
Been a year to use it for two 4K monitors with Lenovo Thinkpad. Absolutely no problems with it.
El equipo va perfectamente, llegó en tiempo
most practical and hasslefree way to expand to 2 external monitors via HDMI solely. No complicated multiple wires + connections. no problem with picture with the occasional problem with no sound avaiable which is could be cable quality.
Loved the adapter initially, no setup. extra screw to keep the connector in place is cool. However, during two different GoToMeeting sessions, the window showing Google Sheets produced a fun, useless light show at the top and the bottom. This did not occur with other Google pages under Chrome. Tried to reach out to tech support, but didn't see an easy link yet through Amazon, will try again. Did not experience this problem with my previous HDMI to USB-C connectors (two individual ones). Have purchased two brand-new cables and will see if that resolves the problem. If not, it may be going back. See picture.
At over 100$, it is a bit pricier than single screen adapters. It does however have the advantage of being able to connect up to 4 external displays to a 16 inch MacBook Pro using only 2 out of the 4 thunderbolt ports available.Anyone who doesn't need to do this could probably do as well with cheaper adapters.I was lucky enough to buy a refurbished model for about 45$, at that price it's a no brainer, I jumped on it and got two.
Works on my 2019 iMac 5k, 1 thunderbolt 3, 2 monitor, 4k 60hz. The only disadvantage is that the usbc interface is a bit loose, and this will cause one of these two monitor not receive signals.
Had to return it. TB3 is ok .. but my miniDV port adapter can handle what I needed. No complaint with this product. Good item. Good build.
Originally using the DELL docking station. The expensive one with all the bad reviews. This one simply works. No fuzzy picture.I now have two beautiful 4k monitors working.I am running Alienware M15OS: Windows 10I don't video game, but it works well for work.
Works as intended, 4k @ 60hz with external monitor
This product is a great value for money. Does exactly what is was design for.
The seller Electronichub770 was great, the product was great I would recommend it for anyone.
I would've like to spend less money on this but it works well.
Works perfectly with Dell XPS 15 9500. 4k60 on two external monitors with the built-in display also active.
Purchased this for my macbook pro and was able to connect 2 monitors, and extend my desktop to both monitors. So in total with the macbook open, i have 3 individual dispalys. The cables are tough and the box is not cheap plastic, its metal. Looked all over and for the price and quality and how well it works with no additional drivers to install, I would highly recommend it
I am seeing some issues with my Dell P2415Q showing a blank screen when waking up my iMac 5K 2019. A Thundebolt to DisplayPort direct cable connection works correctly but not when connected via the Sabrent Thunderbolt 3 to Dual DisplayPort Adapter.
I have had lots of experience with Sabrent products in the past couple of years and it did not surprise me to see and feel the physical quality of this item. The adapter itself is compact but has a decent amount of heft for its size. Connection is quick and easy and the extended/mirrored display looks perfect with no issues. The only thing I would say is to make sure that this item is compatible with your laptop but otherwise this item works flawlessly.
Given to my sons. They loved the warmth while hunting and golfing!
L’unico che funziona su due monitor contemporaneamente, purtroppo il prezzo e alto ma per chi possiede un imac è l’unico metodo
Great product performance has been great. Also, do not just throw away the cable lock!
Why won't Apple support MSTS? Get this, not USB-C video output. This being TB3 works perfectly on my 2018 Macbook Pro, after the 3rd try that is. No idea why, and it works correctly every time now. The case gets a little hot and I wish the coord we're longer. Regular USB-C cables aren't Thunderbolt 3 compatible so this hands down off of my laptop stand.
Very easy product to use and it has a nice slim design. I have two 20” monitors with a MacBook Air in between on my home office desk. The first one they sent me had screen flickering but the support team was great and sent another out to replace.
Picture quality is very good.
Works perfectly for my needs. I wanted to connect two Dell P2715Q monitors to a 2020 Mac mini M1 (Big Sur 11.0.1) without taking up both Thunderbolt ports. This does the job with no issues or quirks to speak of, and I get a full 60Hz out of both monitors. Before, I could only get 30Hz from one of these monitors via HDMI, even when connected directly to the HDMI port on the Mac mini.Using in conjunction with Silkland DP 1.2 cables: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0861QVLHQ/
Easy to setup, worked immediately.
